re-reading this as I wasn't in the mood for it the first time round and yeah, I get the hype!

Not enjoying it. The prose is good, but the story is still meh…might DNF this…

If I didn't want someone to sue me, the last thing I would is piss them off further.

I get how he does it: the horror elements of the plot are never out of context. This book wouldn’t of worked without 200 pages of scene setting
