Can already tell this is going to be a top five of the year

Salad fingers body horror I love the spanner hands they're so creepy. Imagine big mega bacteriophage meets dandy long legs.

I can see again without headaches which calls for my favourite book in the world to be reread. This is such a good coming of age, productivity reminder books to take it easy and make meaning out of the every day. I get evangelical every time I encounter this book, and I recently bought the new duology combo edition in Fernie yesterday. It has a stunning creation of Adam style cover that will inspire many more tattoos

Katherine calls this a perfect book and I have to say she's got a point

I need to lighten up and stop thinking about lung diseases and social ramifications of them

Trading the last few books about silicosis for this one has really made me appreciate every breath

Maybe this'll kick off a big James Islington year for me

This author really loves the word pate and the word frieze.
Also big Red Rising but I do maybe like the protagonist more initially at least here.

Guaranteed I've had zero thoughts about fish or aquatic acoustics or fish noises prior to reading this book

It's time to pick this series back up I think

Seems faster paced than book 2

Ringing in the new year with some academic reading on the death of coal mining in Scotland.

It is very fun to read this in tandem with k8

Allegedly 24 hours of reading to finish this book.

I blame Jen for interrupting my lunch time read
