I have a hard time reconciling that this is the same Lucy Score who wrote Knockmount and Maggie moves on because I love those books...

I know this is one of her earlier books and everyone has to start somewhere... which is why I'm not trying to bash it. But I don't think this is gonna be one I keep.

The gardening conversation is hard to follow post migraine. But at least the 5th grader figured it out and had solid advice. Lol

I appreciate that there is the correct terminology in the book when they are on the ice. Three turns, gliding, mentioning there is lifts without really giving them an name. Its so much better than a handful of books I've read where the mfc "twirls" instead of "spins"

Not gonna lie... probably will unhaul this once I'm finished. Its cute... and I am enjoying it but I don't think its a reach for again kind of book... but I'm not finished with it yet... might change my mind.
