I love and hate it here...

I needed a break from the three other books I've got started... I've already read Nate's brothers books and this one has been on my tbr for a few months.

I'm loving reading about Nate and Becks and how they met. I know I'ma be gutted about Nate's lil secret when I get to it. (I clocked the second that TD was mentioned...)

I straight up thought Tally was younger than she is... this nonsense she's pulling... feels like teenager nonsense... not grown adult nonsesne and I get it grown adults make mistakes too and grief is weird but like... really?

I could also do with out her one second being mad at Walker then the next trying to climb Walker like a tree...

Tally babe. We don't need degrees to do the big things...

I think I'm spite reading this at this point. Like its alright. I'm not in love with the characters and the plot right now is alright. I'll see it to the end but probably unhaul it after.

I was got by the back blurb.... and I'm running into a I kinda dislike the mfc which is pretty on par with me. Lol. Hopefully I start to like her further in I get.

So far so good. I'm excited to read a new Dessen book.

THE PLOT TWIST. I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING.

I have a hard time reconciling that this is the same Lucy Score who wrote Knockmount and Maggie moves on because I love those books...

I know this is one of her earlier books and everyone has to start somewhere... which is why I'm not trying to bash it. But I don't think this is gonna be one I keep.

The gardening conversation is hard to follow post migraine. But at least the 5th grader figured it out and had solid advice. Lol
