I'm trying to listen to this as an audiobook but not sure it's working. I'm confused

Barely started but I'm not liking it :( I had such high expectations for this book and it's just so annoying. Maybe it's because I'm dumb (most likely). I think listening to it isn't helping too. Will Wheaton is the narrator and it's really good.

honestly if this doesn't get better in a few pages I'll DNF it. Got bored with this storyline and gosh it's getting more teenagy

Out of the blue this became more YA than I thought it would be. As always a forced romance ruining a book. Maybe ruining is a bit too much, BUT MY GOD I NEED TO FINISH THIS NOOOOW. I will definitely read the sequel. Why was this book forgotten?

It's impressively good. The storyline is not better than the Hunger Games, and it sounds more YA as well, but I'm liking it more than I thought I would.

how is this a horror book? this is my first horror book and this is definitely not what I expected.

Also you can see why this is his first book (also the first Stephen King book I'm reading). So far, boring.
