Probably my favorite novel of all time, it's been a while since my last reread so here goes another one! Breaks my heart and puts it back together

DNFing for now bc I cant handle the FMC making fuck ass decisions all in the name of being independent. Like maybe she'll die and maybe everyone around her will get hurt trying to keep her safe, but at least she can be a ✨️strong independent woman✨️ like girl be so real

I haven't read this book since the first time i read it in 6th grade but this 20th anniversary edition is just gorgeous so ofc I bought and now km actually reading it

So excited to have gotten an ARC from Tor publishing!

I honestly am really surprised by how much I love this series. Slade has to be my favorite ML I've ever read, noone else will ever measure up

I didnt think I'd read this bc the fanfic Manacled just didnt sound interesting to me at all, especially as a romance, but this version being marketed as horror and having it stated that it's not a romance, Im excited to read bc the synopsis sounded cool af so here goes

DNFing for now bc i was reminded that this series is a rylo fanfic and I do not enjoy star wars and just cant unsee it as i read 😭 maybe later I'll forget and then i can try again haha

Read so much at work today haha but man this book is flying by! Can't believe im actually looking forward to chapters with Quasami, I really hated her in the first book

Taking a small break from Oathbringer to read this, and I'm glad I didn't wait bc I'm already loving it. It's off to a quick start, taking place 3 years after the end of the first book it seems tho I'm admittedly not 100% sure. I can't wait to read some more fight scenes, they were so good in the first book!

Very excited to finally find out why Dalinar's memories of his first wife were erased because damn in these flashbacks he doesn't give a shit about her. Tbf, it was never a love marriage but damn

Slowly but surely still making it through, I'm really enjoying this but definitely not flying through it in two days like I did with Words of Radiance😅 glad to see Jasnah again but man she's getting on my nerves a bit. The flashbacks to Dalinar's youth are very helpful in understanding why people have been reacting to him the way they have been. I'm glad he's finally making some leeway in alliances though

Cant wait for Dalinar to remember more about his wife! I wonder why he lost all memories related to her, to the point he couldn't even hear her name 🤔

Oh man, Jian's chatacter arc is gonna be sooo satisfying and I love Taishi already

The title and cover had me sold immediately, my fave horror element is cannibalism so im excited to see how this book goes!

Rereading this series again.. the romance between Paige and Arcturus has to be my favorite romance I've ever read... a true enemies to lovers slowburn, and it's sloooow. Such an amazing fantasy series i need more of y'all to read these books

Very provoking. Im not used to reading books about abuse from the POV of the abuser(s). Important to remember that they're unreliable narrorators

Reading Lady Macbeth made me want to reread this and see Lady Macbeth as she was originally written

Well I'll be moving to my 'on hold' shelf for now. So far I cant see the FMC as anything but a spoiled brat and I know she's young and this is YA, but it is really grating on my nerves lol

Taking a break from stormlight bc i don't wanna finish it too quickly. But I'm really excited for this book, the seven swans has been one of my favorite fairy tales since I was a child, and I've never seen it adapted before, so I'm excited to see how it goes in this book!
