I’m out. This book is incredibly boring. Superfluous descriptions abound and there is no plot. I don’t mind character driven stories, or even slice of life but this book is packaged as an intriguing tale of historical political drama and this far in I’ve given up waiting for the drama.

Finally at book 3. Could have been here days ago if the author stopped describing every single thing, including explaining what a nod is.

Book one finished. This is a tome. Could use a good edit.
