Given the recent FBI shennanigans (e.g., political firings, Epstein files, & suspected 5th column infiltration), the intelligence community may be wise to have reasonable suspicion.

The FBI has a historical record of unconstitutional persecution of African Americans (e.g., COINTELPRO), although they accept Black taxpayer dollars for their budget.

I remember the first government shutdown when federal employees stood in long food pantry lines for support. The news reports 317,000 federal employees under Trump have been terminated, retired, or resigned.

Even the author and FBI veteran was terminated one day before his retirement.

Very good book thus far. Although this memoir was published in 2018, the topic remains very relevant today. Afterall, Mrs. Omarosa Newman had a front row seat to view it all.
