Marlene is on page 100 of 371 of Beautiful Tempest (Malory Family, #12)
Struggling to get through this. The Malory's was a great series when it was set in London but the emphasis on pirates and the ilk is getting repetitious. Enough with the pirates already.

Marlene is starting Sinful Deeds (Cynfell Brothers, #2)
I liked the Heroine. Didn't take her long to get Dante up to scratch.

Marlene is reading An Inconvenient Companion (Inconvenient Trilogy, #3)
I enjoyed this book. Anderson and Fairweather are attracted to each other by trading Barbs. Lydia and Alfred help each other. I wish Lady Elizabeth was featured more in this. liked that Lord and Lady Halkyn stepped up. Alfred seemed to be very damaged and I had difficulty engaging because of his willingness.

Marlene is reading Always Come Home (Emerson, #1)
This book has an unusually amiable and honorable hero, Colin, Earl of Ridgeway. His daughters governess Ava, comes across as very dignified, beautiful, and practical; and seems to appeal to every man she interacts with. The story ends with a few loose ends, and the fate of the impoverished family is still not resolved. looking forward to James story.

Marlene is reading The Secrets of a Scoundrel (Inferno Club, #7)
I enjoyed this final installment of the Inferno series. Nick and Lady Burke were perfect together and I also enjoyed Phillip Virgils grandson. I wonder if he really burned the ________? she was too seriously secretive and he was very hard on himself because of his shame.

Marlene is reading To Wed a Wicked Earl (Devine & Friends, #2)
This is the second book in the series and I still don't see why Charlotte was such an eligible bride for a duke or an earl. Lord Rothbury and Charlotte seem such an improbable couple, but it worked in the end.

Marlene is reading Never Run From Love (Kellington, #4)
Melanie and Hal's story was interesting. An entertaining read with more graphic sex than the previous books in the series.

Marlene is reading No Good Duke Goes Unpunished (The Rules of Scoundrels, #3)
a very frustrating read where the heroine Mara Lowe deserved to be beaten to bring out the truth immediately. I did not enjoy this silly unrealistic tale where Temple was maimed again as a result of Mara's treachery and lies. I also expected the other scoundrels to extract information from her when she was in captivity at the Angel.
