This book is a slower read as I am trying to bring more understanding of Buddhism into my life. It covers the 10 paramitas or transcendental virtues. Sometimes they are also refered to as the 10 perfections, but since no human is perfect, I prefer not to call them that. They are virtues we aspire to.

Completely engaging and I'm finding it hard to put down. WOW.
May be even better than The Haunting of HG Wells.

This book is a long term goal. 💜 there are so many bits of backstory w the footnotes.

I loved reading LIW when I was a child and having this annotated version of her autobiography is a treasure.

So far very illuminating regarding how fat people, especially woman are portrayed in literature over the last 100 years.
Apparently we are simpering simpletons who allow ourselves to be bullied and never take a stand.
Hoping at least 1 person stands up for themselves when we get to the stories written in the 90s.
