It's just too long and takes a lot of effort, because there's so much weird words and weird pacing, it makes it hard to listen to, because the meat of the book is packed between a lot of noise.

This book explains so much. It tells me I have more friends than I can currently conceive of. I am not ugly, my beauty is just an aquired taste, like Bataille. It is the voices of those who don't have a refined sense of aesthetics, and relaxed human view of the body, who will be repulsed. I am worthy of love. I must remember this book, and pay close attention to what Scruton says, oh bless him.
