Of all the books on this part of marriage I’ve read so far, this one is the best. It’s an absolute breath of fresh air, both empowering and comforting. While I’d appreciate a bit more discussion on what part of “traditional” gender roles we’re discarding (as opposed to biblical), on the whole this has made sex seem much, MUCH less terrifying!

I do not have adult children but was curious about this book, being, as I am, an adult child. Good read so far.

Beautiful, beautiful book. Marriage, as with everything else in life, is supposed to be all about Jesus, and it, like everything else, falls into place when we behold Him. I think every Christian couple needs this good bop on the head before we start stressing ourselves out about wedding planning and where to live and all that! Such a refreshing perspective reset.

Really impressed by the level of research Lansing did, and yet it still is as engaging as a novel.
