This is hilarious! Jane Austen has a masterpiece of satire here!
Catherine is just frustrating. I can’t decide if I love her for her goodness or hate her for her stupidity. Henry is flaky. Isabelle is a witch. James is a disappointment of an older brother. Mr. Allen is awesome. Mrs. Allen is pitiful. That’s where we’re at for now.

A lot like The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society but in none of the good ways. Too progressive. Too unrealistic. Too hard to follow. Driving me up a wall.

Chutzpah.

So far, terrible writing. I mean terrible even for a Jewish book. What a shame cause the plot might be good enough.
