I do understand that they are both enemies. Both trying to mess with the other equally. What's very different here in my opinion is the intent behind the agressions. Aida's attempts of getting back at Callum are immature at best and generally aren't meant to actually inflict real harm, at least in my opinion based on her internal dialogues. On the other hand, Callum's are intents are straight up violent.

I was excited to read and it was so easy on the mind, I pulled a sleepless night. Even hearing the morning birds didn't make me feel ashamed.

It's a full-on mafia stalker romance, but the writing makes it light-hearted somehow? Like a mafia beach read if it makes sense. But it's not exactly funny either. ughhhh i shouldn't have started this. I wanted something hilarioussssss to move on from the anguish and torturing grief that Eldritch brought with its awesomeness. 🥲

Well, definitely not the same vibe as Lights Out as of right now. We're leaning towards a Grumpy mafia, maybe a little snarky tone rather than a funny rom-com. Not what I was expecting or what I was going for to be honest. It somehow feels pretty generic for now.

Should I skip this one and wait for Tyler's book? I was hoping this one was Tyler's to be honest, I just need answers from him 😂
