Dutchess > Recent Status Updates

I had planned to finish this by tomorrow evening, but I spent too much time fucking around tonight, so I may not have time to finish it until Friday or Saturday. Riparooni ratatouille. I think I'm also about to reach a whack ass climactic point in the story, so it's disappointing that I have to pause here.

I hate it when fantasy authors spend 5 pages explaining how the magic works in their world. I know some people are into that, but I'm not. I do not care. Please halt the exposition and return to the story, since that part of the book is actually interesting, thank you.

I was about to start this, but realized that the first 30 pages are missing. So I guess I'll start on page 31?

I just woke up from a nap and I guess I'm this far in? Kinda curious what the hell I've been reading.

This was kind of forced upon me by one of my non-reader friends because it's "one of the few books he's actually finished." This was not on my TBR, and I don't want to read it. Hopefully the book ends up being incredible. We'll see.

I just finished filing my taxes and now I'm too tired to actually start this.

I was planning on reading this whole book today, but it hasn't gripped me as hard as I thought it would, so I played some Disco Elysium instead. The prose feels a little redundant at times, but still enjoying it thus far.
