Shane has been pretty selfish and unlikable for the first half of this book.

The main characters are so dumb. They reveal all of their "secret" plans to 80% of the characters and then are surprised when things don't go as planned.

Are the main characters idiots? They are in the middle of a fight, surrounded by enemies, and they decide to stop and have a conversation. Wth? I swear they are asking to get killed at this point.

Not much has happened so far. We get more of Daisy this book, but she's really young and immature, so scenes with her and her friends were annoying.

What is it with side characters constantly dropping in unannounced to their apartment?

Wes is annoying me too. Why the hell doesn't he set boundaries with Blake?

Blake is so annoying. I already know he's going to be the main reason for me rating this book lower than book 1.

Still not done with this one...did anyone else find this kind of boring?

I thought he was immature, but she is immature and annoying in her own way.

Why is this 28-year-old man so immture? It's a major turnoff in a MMC.

I started this months ago and am still only 25% through. Why am I so bored? I really hope it gets more interesting soon.

Only 12% in, and I'm already bored. Also, I'm so done with all the misogyny in RK's books and was naively hopeful that she would have retired that by now.

Ugh, I'm sick of reading books where the guy deserves to grovel like hell, and the main female character is supposedly going to make him work for it, but then falls apart within a second of him touching her. CAN YOU PLEASE HAVE ONE OUNCE OF CONTROL AND SELF-RESPECT?

So far, Xavier is an annoying man-child. I hope that changes soon or I'll have to DNF

Declan's an ass and Hannah's a doormat

I can't see myself rating this higher than 2 stars because Declan's been an asshole the whole book.

I think I'll end up DNF'ing this because I don't really like the main character. I'll at least get to 33%.

I desperately wanted to love this book but am underwhelmed so far. It's not bad, but it's not gripping me. I'll try to read at least a chapter a day because I don't want to DNF.

Back after putting this book down for 2 months. Now I remember why I stopped in the first place. Nesta makes reading this nearly unbearable.

Still at 40%, but I forgot to mention:
I thought Mia was supposed to be a badass? At least, that's what all previous books made us think. But she's so freakin submissive with Landon. I swear RK is just copying and pasting her main characters' personalities at this point.

I was really looking forward to Landon and Mia's book, so it breaks my heart to say that I'm at the 40% mark and bored. The dialogue is super repetitive, and I keep waiting for something exciting (or remotely interesting) to happen...

I'm only 25% in but I'm already bored. I really hope this picks up soon.
