Wow this is really well written.

Ngl audiobooks while sick practically comatose in bed is such a good idea

Unfortunately I think every summer after was the best book Carly Fortune will ever make and none will live up to it

Honestly, this would be a better story if it weren’t about Charlie. I understand that Charlie was a self proclaimed douche as a teenager, but I just can’t fully root for him in this book because I remember what he was like in Every Summer After.

Ngl this is good. I’m just scared that reading this while sick is going to make me judge the book more harshly.

Nowhere near the standard of Every Summer After, but definitely better than the other book of Carley’s that I read

Part 3 is MAGNIFICENT. Nearly finished it and wow, this is showcasing the authors skill at writing and planning. WOW.

Okay, this is a bit weird. I wasn’t expecting it to resolve that quickly and for the next thing to happen (the 2 years later part). It’s feeling a bit jarring. I have hope that it’ll be rounded out in the end, but I’m not certain. This book isn’t a 4 star anymore, it’s closer to a 3.5 possibly a 3.

This is building up to be a really moving ending.

Definitely ready for the resolution and ending, but I am enjoying this
