So far, another solid King read. Mostly been listening to it while I’m actually out walking so immersion is 10/10. Kinda waiting for the next major ”wow” moment. Right now they’re kinda just walking and dropping one by one

Took some time to do this chapter, bit tricky to wrap my head around at times, regardless here’s the best excerpt from emptiness and silence.

Slide out the side. Die,
And be quiet. Quietness is the surest sign that you’ve died. Your old life was frantic running from silence. The speechless full moon comes out now

Preferred the last chapter more but still, maybe this was just a little harder to understand.
Favorite excerpt from bewilderment:
Do you think I know what I am doing?
The hat for one breath or half-breath I belong to myself?
As much as a pen knows what it’s writing, or the ball can guess where it’s going next

First time trying out poetry and honestly it’s very enjoyable. You can reread stuff over and over without feeling like there’s a stress to get to the end.
Favourite of the chapter ”The tavern”:
All day I think about it, then at night I say it. Where did I come from, and what am I supposed to be doing?
I have no idea
My soul is from elsewhere, I’m sure of that
And I intend to end up there

Pretty good so far. There’s a lot of good lessons about how the best choice for you will(and should) make people mad. But man it also has some really weird claims… For example it thinks:
“It is because he hit me I have a bad relationship with my father” should be replaced with
“I brought out the memory of being hit because I don’t want my relationship with my father to get better” … like what?
