It has taken 75% of this book to feel stable in these characters. To stop holding my breath for what fucked up thing is going to come next. I’m so nervous about reading on because there’s a quarter of this book left and a whole other book in the duet to break my heart. I’m not well

I’m genuinely impressed with the writing. Like the convos don’t feel super corny/cheesy. They feel like the way real people talk. Which is not always present in romance books.
