I've technically made a lot of progress on my shelves but I don't feel like it. It's like, when I look at other blog posts talking about how they organized their shelves, they said they only shelved genre AFTER reading it. Which makes sense for fiction! But how do you do that for nonfiction? I don't want to have a bunch of sub-nonfiction, but sometimes I just want to read a memoir, ya know?

Beautifully Broken I also feel this when it comes to categorizing the authors (multiple, disabled, lgbt, bipoc); I hate having so many categories but I want to intentionally read more works by authors who hold one or more marginalized identity.
There's also the idea of topic vs trigger warning. I remade shelves for certain triggers like domestic violence and suicide (among others), but do I NEED shelves that are as specific as "topic-pregnancy"? What if I'm in the mood for that? HOW DO I DO THIS.

Beautifully Broken If someone could please 1-800-HELP-A-GAY, I'd be ever so appreciative. =')
The good news is, there is no way in hell I'm going to delete all my shelves. Not with how much work I've done in the past year. I would only delete certain shelves if anything.
