I think I need something with angst and tension with ow/om drama(but no cheating between main mc’s please). I don’t really have a preference for a subgenre. I just want something that’s going to keep me interested and pulled into the material.
- The Heart Breaker by Nicole Jordan, historical romance: very angsty , the hero is a widower so the ow drama is linked to his former wife, lots of tension and chemistry between the two characters.- Mountain Mistress by Nadine Crenshaw , historical romance: lots of angst, love the hero in particular, but no om/ow drama.
- House of glass by Michelle Reid , harlequin romance: a classic harlequin with a hero so blinded by jealousy that he constantly thinks the worst of the heroine lol
- Love's choices by Penny Jordan , harlequin romance (but longer than the average harlequins) : this one is perfect if you're really looking for drama, lots of angst, miscommunication, ow and om drama, non con etc ( I have a detailed review but there are lots of spoilers)
Between Never and Forever by Brit Benson of you haven't read it so far!
