I'm not sure how I'm feeling about it Rebecca, part of me hates the prose and general tone of the writing and the characters are kind of annoying. We shall see 🤣

Oh dear! I am getting it in a book subscription box this month. I have read a couple of their books and know what you mean about the prose! I did quite enjoy the last book of theirs I read though. The characters were quite annoying in Nothing But Blackened Teeth too!

Nothing but Blackened Teeth was my only previous read of hers. It annoyed the hell out of me.

It was an ok read for me, I think I gave it three stars. I preferred The Salt Grows Heavy though. I probably wouldn't have bothered with this one though if I wasn't getting it in a subscription box. At least the books are short!

I think i gave it the same. The dialogues really grated on me and this book is the same.
