Well damn, my brain will never be comfortable with audiobooks, it's just a person droning on in my ears (sorry!) but when each character has their own voice and there are sound affects? Seems like that's something I can do 🥰

I completely understand! Some audiobooks I can lose myself in ... some put me to sleep. 😞🥱😴 That's why I mostly listen at bedtime. I'm finding that I quite like mysteries as audiobooks for some reason. 🤷♂️ The narrator/narrators are key, though.
@Ash ngl I kinda regret I didn't read it when I was younger cause I would go feral over this, I bet! But it's still entertaining enough, thank you ❤️
@Daniel I think I just have troubles listening to the story AND imagining it at the same time, that's why they're nit working for me :( but I bet it really depends on the narrator! And the full cast is working wonders for me. I'll have to try a mystery as audio one day!
Audiobooks aren't my thing either T_T
