It's ridiculous.. how can they totally leave off a category of Romance the is huge! If you aren't writing heterosexual stories I guess they don't count
Totally agree and with Jamie's comment.When you look at the first round Nominees in the 'romance' section i can guess which one's will go further.
Many have said to go for "written in" votes, because of how poorly selected the first round nominees are... But, if they can subcategorise YA sci-fi & fantasy, they can subcategorise further! The categories have expanded and changed over the years, so some good peer pressure might help...
I'm so bloody annoyed! YA/NA crap has a category, so WHY not establish one for LGBTQ+?????@Susie
