to clarify what i mean: everyone and everything sort of bleeds into each other, I have no feeling of characters and even less feeling for the places and the passage of time. it’s like it rushes to get to some particular thought he has or something, not caring about setting up anything at all. if you know what I mean. what a weird book that just doesn’t breathe, can’t remember the last time i encountered this. it struggles on the most basic levels of storytelling or something
