Sounds about right. It's, unfortunately, rare for pretty books to be well written. It is gorgeous though. I can't wait to see what you have to say about it!

I saw the cover and instantly wanted to buy it but some reviews pointed out that adult characters talk like teenagers (as per every 'new adult' book I've tried) and that's an instant ick from me lol idk why it has to be like that
