It's not bad... but the plot is weak so far. 🫤
300 pages in, and all they did was wait for Poppy to wake up and remember them, wonder where Millie is again and again, and wonder why Isbeth wanted Poppy.

This is not the Cas I fell in love with.

Book 5 was also meh"As was the case with book 5, you could read the first 10% and the last 10% and be able to understand everything relevant that happened. I am at 92%, and things are getting interesting, but I skimmed a lot between 30% and 85% because it was jst so repetitive and pointless.

But the repetitive inner monologues and unending conversations are similar to what she wrote in the previous books and in the Flesh and Fire series... So it must be her. 😅
