Read a couple other biographies on him, you’ll have to let me know how that one is!

I think this is the first one I’ve read other than Surprised By Joy. So unfortunately I don’t have much to compare it to 😂 but I’m enjoying it

It was a good quick read. Helpful to me because there was a lot of biographical information I didn’t know. I think the best thing about this one is that it makes a point of focusing on his inner life and development of ideas/themes through successive works. Unfortunately also the weak point because obviously, there is only so much you can infer about someone’s inner life and I think McGrath has odd takes on this sometimes. I’d like to try one or two others.
