Hi Katie, I completely agree. It is not just your standard reading affair; that is for sure. I remember reading Orbital last year and felt the same way, like I missed something. In any case, I will continue chugging through House of Leaves, and hopefully it all makes sense in the end. Happy reading! 😊

It didn't go above my head but I certainly dropped it after about 35% in... Might give it a try when I have less than 9000 books tbr.

Hi Khalid! I also understand having a huge backlog of books to read. I am taking this book fairly slowly, absorbing 20-30 pages at a time, which I don't normally do, so we will see how that plays out. Thanks for the dialogue, and happy reading! 😊

Hi Stephanie! Yay, hubby! I am not sure there is another book that seems so mixed in opinion. Some think of it as one of the most creative, fantastic works ever written, and then others believe it to be overly pretentious and not worth the time. I am still on the fence! Have you not attempted to tackle this beast of a book?
