I have a soft spot in my heart for this book, Mark. I met Salman Rushdie in 2019 in Austin, Texas when he was promoting the book and he signed a copy for me. He's a truly classy gentleman.

He's a truly classy gentleman."You've met the man himself, Javier!! He is a super writer isn't he? Having said that, I've only read The Golden House, which was brilliant. This one has started off very well indeed. Now I am under pressure to like this one - but I see you lost a star on your rating my friend :))
