Darrow has a very hard time through all three books (I cannot say anything about the rest since I haven't read them yet). It's heartbreaking, honestly 😔

Yeah! I think I am starting to see that for poor Darrow! It's been one hit after another for the guy! AND let's not forget that he is only a baby! He's not even 18! 💔

Yes, that's true, he is technically still a child (not in the eyes of his society, I'm afraid) which is one of the reasons why my heart broke for him through reading this series. Nobody should suffer like this, especially not a child 😔
