This piques my interest - I love reading about walking. What are your thoughts on it so far?

This is an absolute gem! It succeeds in being very much 'boots on the ground here and now' at the same time as hugely 'metaphysical'. Hard to describe really but I highly recommend it. The landscapes in the book are mostly places I have walked too, which is nice.

I like walking books too. I'd also very much recommend "Under the Stars: A Journey Into Light" by Matt Gaw. I want to read "Wanderers: A History of Women Walking" by Kerri Andrews soon too.

There's a blogger I've been following for years who goes for long walks, then publishes small press books about them. I may have mentioned him to you before - Craig Mod? I recommend his Ridgeline newsletter in particular.
