I must have read this book a jillion times in high school. No wonder all my earlier relationships were a nightmare. I bounced between dating Mrs. Danvers and Maxim.

It's my first time through, shockingly. In fact, it's my first du Maurier. So far, I'm quite liking it, though Beatrice and Frank are the only folks I'd want to spend time with.

(Actually, I might give Mrs. Van Hopper a tumble, just for the stories.)
