I loved it! It's so rare it seems that a literary work centers on a true contemplative personality. I love that it raises all sorts of questions about the nature of inquiry and happiness and contentment and, ultimately, faith. I even had to sigh a bit when the High Lama tells Conway that one of the great things about Shangri-La is that staying means he'll never have to skim the pages of another book! :)
