Lizz, this is my second read through (rereading to review) Brunner used a writing technique similar to what John Dos Passos used in his USA Trilogy — many multiple characters and points of view, injections of advertisements, tv shows, and other multi media throughout. And the theme feels absolutely current even though written over 50 years ago.

I reread with intent to review too. Last year? Maybe. Then I realized everything I had to say would upset somebody somehow so I wrote a snarky blurb and called it a day. I really enjoy Brunner’s work. I think I like Shockwave Rider the most. Set the stage for cyberpunk plus girl has large wild cat as best friend.
