Absolutely! I love reading poetry. What formats do you have available? I prefer mobi if you have it.

Thank you Virginia for your question. I am currently working on a Young Adult Fantasy series titled, Graffiti, which is almost done. It is about a young girl named Isola who struggles with her identity until she meets a boy with the same abilities. Isola has the ability to make things beautiful with her fingertips but she also has an internal conflict that causes her to react in self defense that can be destructive. I also have a Dark Fantasy/Horror poetry and prose collection titled, The Laughing Suns and a few more small projects along the way!

Me, Myself and I was the idea behind my poetry collection book, Break the Chains, Be Freed Within. I used what depression had done to me and brought it to life in poetry. Depression is a very serious and controversial subject because people don't tend to understand how one can fall into such a dark space. Sometimes you don't really know how you ended up in this dark space and you don't really want to get out of it because you become comfortable in it. At least that is how it was for me. I am not ashamed that I went through it and have scars because of it but I am proud that I finally came out of it and that is all that really matters. After all, I finally broke those chains and became free.

It depends on what I am writing. For example, with poetry my experiences as well as others played a huge part of inspiration for me. Being able to go through trials and tribulations and still able to make it through all of it. Of course, it took some time but I made it or the person I wrote about made it. There is always Hope.
For the fiction I would have to say watching movies in the genre of choice or reading novels in the genre of choice. It inspires me to think I can write something even ten times more twisted than what I just read. :)

Write. write. write. And Read! Lol. No matter what your idea is or how dumb you think it is still write it down. Any idea is an idea that can be used for anything. And quite frankly I don't think any idea is dumb. There are readers for anything and everything and that's what makes writing fun. Knowing someone has just as much of an open imagination as you! But always remember to write every day and if not every day, every other day is fine until you get into the habit. But make sure you make it a habit and soon. Everybody wants to write, sometimes it's hard to get it down on paper so don't worry about the technicalities of it. Just write it down how you see it. The rest will come to you. Just tap into your brain and don't be afraid to reach outside your imagination.

The best thing would have to be writing about things you wish existed and having them come to life in your novels. From having real cool powers to writing up creatures that don't exist. Worlds that are way beyond any imagination. Being able to think outside the box in writing and none of it being wrong or weird.

I can't say I've actually dealt with writer's block. I always seem to have a constant flow of ideas for stories and characters. I can come up with the title, characters, chapter titles, settings, etc. It's finding the time to put all of it together and write.

I am currently working on my first fiction short story collection titled A Sudden Terror featuring 3 horror stories :)
