Quantum Fall began as a contest entry for my favorite online writers' workshop. I got the idea after I saw a cartoon of a 19th-century strongman that was featured on the site, and suggested to the site owner that he host a contest for writers to explain the "mysterious man's" backstory. The site owner took me up on that offer. Sadly, my entry was just a few hours too late to be accepted into the contest (GMT time VS EST time) but I ended up loving what I did with it, as did several of my readers. In October, I was inspired to finally do what I'd been planning since 2012: expand the story and make it an episodic series.

I think cinematically. It's hard for me *not* to be inspired to write. I just see life and stories and naturally want to create my own. I've always been this way.

-"The Quantum Fall of Thaddeus Archibald DuBois's" second episode.
-One final edit on my first novel, An Autumn Veil, before shopping it out to agents.
-Structuring "A Star-Strewn Girl," an episodic novella building off of my short story, "Some Measure of Peace," starring the ever-popular Reese.
-"The Milidan Ward," (working title) which tangentially connects to my novel in a way similar to how Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D connects to the Marvel films.
-"Machindoun," (working title) the second book of the Ark Series and the sequel to "An Autumn Veil"

People are always intrigued by the prospect of it. It's an interesting conversation piece.

I vary my activities. Sometimes this is digging into a different piece of writing, other times it's digging into someone else's story via a game, TV show, or film. Seeing someone else handle a story well oftentimes gives me clarity on how to handle my own well.
