Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
David Sakmyster For FINAL SOLSTICE, the idea came quite simply: from watching the news. Weather stories in particular: horrifying and relentless and sudden catastrophic weather events. Tornadoes, hurricanes, flash floods and forest fires, earthquakes and the like. The idea just came out of that shared human feeling of helplessness--and desire for order. Could it be that a) something (or someone) could directly cause this mayhem, and b) someone else could prevent it?

David Sakmyster I have to check with the publisher... Hopefully it's on his list to do!

Hey Dave, Currently more than half way through Jurassic Dead 2 and thoroughly enjoying it :) Especially the modern references to the walking dead, Jurassic park and others... If you do write a 3rd PLEASE name one of the characters after me???? I am LOVING this second book, really worth the money on the Kindle and I will be recommending to more people than I already have :)

David Sakmyster I'm working on Book 2 of JURASSIC DEAD, a zombie dinosaur series with co-author Rick Chesler. This one's moving from an isolated island to the mainland and going into apocalypse realms...
