I'm an aspiring writer, but I'm dealing with two things: I get discouraged every single day because 96% of manuscripts are rejected, and I haven't had an idea for years, literally. There's too many people wanting to be writers, and knowing there's so much competition just kills me a little every day. When I get motivated, immediatly something appears about the industry that kills it. Any tips on how to deal with this?
Amy Andrews Hi Cintia,
All you can do is write the best book you know how. Then write another one and another one. Writers write, despite the odds. And those who persist and continue to improve are the ones who make it in the end.
My advice would also be to join a writing group that centers around your genre of choice - so much support in these groups and motivation to keep going when everything seems too hard.

Hello! I don't know how often you check in at GR but I thought I would give it a shot :-) How can I get my eyes on your novella "Their Baby Bond"? I've tried every which way but illegally, lol, & I can't find it. I know it was released with a couple of other novellas but I can't find that either. When all else fails, maybe ask the author? Love a lot of your books and I hope I can read this one, too. Happy Holidays

Hi, I read book 2 in your Sydney Smoke Rugby series and I have to say I loved it. So happy there is going to be more books. And now I have to read book 1 because I haven't read that one. But it's good to read as a standalone, right?

Hi Amy! I literally just finished reading 'Playing By Her Rules.' Wonderful book. I cannot wait to read the other guys' stories; especially, hopefully, Linc and Valerie's story. Is that what's next in the series?

Next in the series - coming in Sept - is Dex. Then it's Linc's book in November! I'm sorry to say its not Valerie though. Those Smoke boys take the whole dont mess with the coach's daughter very, very seriously :-) Val's book is second last and its going to be soooo much fun :-)

Hi Amy! I am very interested in reading your soon-to-be-released "Some Girls Do" but I wondered if you could answer a question for me. Does either the hero or heroine date/have sex with others during the couple of years he is watching over her in the city? Thanks in advance!

Gosh, I'm so sorry, I've just discovered this question has been here for 4 months! Apologies, you must have thought me terribly rude! Im not even sure how I even stumbled across it now - doh! Will have to figure it out so I can keep an eye here for any more questions!

Thrilled that you're thinking of reading Some Girls Do ( if you haven't already). Both Coop and Lacey see people while she is in the city. They're not in a relationship at all and are therefore free to do so (not that this is ever seen on the page) but I understand this is a hot button for you.

The other three books in the series are probably more up your alley and book 2, Some Girls Dont, is now permanently free. Another one of my books you may enjoy is No More Mr Nice Guy.
