I don't usually share the list of books in my TBR pile. It sounds like an odd thing to keep secret, but a part of me feels guilty when my other writer friends don't see their titles there. Also, although I try to review everything I read, sometimes I don't bother if the book is a real stinker or if I can't get through it, and I'd rather not advertise those titles. So, you'll just have to wonder. ;)

The very-likely-to-be-a-trilogy starting with DEVIANT BLUE is based on an essay we were asked to write in high school. The question stuck with me, bothered me for years. Prove for or against: constant development in society is a good thing. I focused on science, medicines, technology... and I was deeply bothered by my final realizations, which are complicated and encompassed in the story I'm telling.

I am hoping to sell my completed horror novel, THE STARVING QUEEN. I am also working on editing/selling my sci-fi novel DEVIANT BLUE. I'm writing part two (which needs a decent title), and I'm daydreaming about part three. Short story ideas are swarming around in my brain at all times.
