Thanks Harold. That's exactly what every writer likes to hear. I'm currently working on an alien invasion/alternate time line story, Aliens in the Fog. Once that is done I will continue working on the GP series.

I'm not sure. I want to do an off-shoot of the series with Short Blade being a Yankee Trader with all the potential adventures.

Many of the characters are a mix of those folks I served with in the military. Growing up around parents and grandparents from "The Greatest Generation" I imagined what they would do if given a second chance. The character Short Blade though was different, I wanted to use him as comedic relief, instead he grew into more than a full character. I'm even thinking of doing a series around him. ((Sorry for the delay replying I didn't get any notice I had a question))

Thanks for your question Chris. It started as a trilogy and then Short Blade just screamed out to me to have his own story, now I have a major story for the next book since I can't leave readers hanging. It's going to have some new revelations and plot twists especially regarding the Republic.
