I have to say Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy. I can never get enough of Pride and Prejudice, in any format. Even the zombies intrigue me! Their love story is so sweet and epitomizes everything that transformational love can be. I love how two strong and independent individuals still have room for improvement so long as they find that person who helps expand them. Both are so deserving of one another. Fictional or not, their presence in my life never fails to inspire.

The myth of Eros and Psyche has always fascinated me ever since I was a little girl. Greek Mythology in general is incredible, but Eros and Psyche touched me to the core. The words "Heart and Soul" that is used in everyday language to this day, had its roots from an ancient story. It made me feel more akin to these strange ancient Greeks than anything else I'd read. They, too, struggled with love. They, too, found the combination of "heart" and "mind," their version of quintessential romantic love, important. The story also inspired many other familiar works like Beauty and the Beast that we enjoy today. I felt like the story needed to be told again, keeping intact the core values behind the myth but with more relatable characters. I believe I accomplished this with my Origin of Love Series.

I do as much as I can. I try to experience as much as I can. I just never know when great material will come up. I love to meet different people and listen to their stories. I watch how they express themselves, their mannerisms, the effect they have on those around them. For me, a character comes before a plot. Once I decide on a character or a group of characters, the events that unfold come off as inevitable because of their personalities.

Rupture: Origin of Love Book 3. It is the final part to the series and it is hard saying good-bye to some really wonderful characters. Almost done!

Having an outlet for all the characters and ideas that pop in your head throughout the day. Hearing the responses from readers about your work. Watching something that was just a shadowy image in your mind, come to life in a book. Feeling as if your really contributing something beautiful to the world.

Most of the time, I try to exercise or read something stimulating or inspiring. The more pressure I put on myself to write, the worst my block usually gets.
