How do you get inspired to write?

Jendela Tryst I do as much as I can. I try to experience as much as I can. I just never know when great material will come up. I love to meet different people and listen to their stories. I watch how they express themselves, their mannerisms, the effect they have on those around them. For me, a character comes before a plot. Once I decide on a character or a group of characters, the events that unfold come off as inevitable because of their personalities.
