Hi Toni,
I have several projects... but none are ready for eyes yet! Thanks for asking!
How about you? What's going on in your writing life?

I'm working on a partner book for 770s - It's called Sweet Life of Dead Duane and I'm really excited about it!

Keep writing. No matter what anyone says, everyone has a story to tell. I used to think my work had to be perfect, and as much as I wish it were so, nothing is ever perfect. So keep writing. You may not be perfect, but the more you write, the better you'll get.
Also, take advantage of as many opportunities as you can to learn - whether it be in the classroom, at a workshop, a conference... Read! Not just books on writing - but read good writing - Find the lyricism in Virginia Woolf, read short stories and plays--take a notepad and pen with you everywhere. Try everything. It'll happen. If you have the passion, it'll happen.

The best thing about being a writer? I'm not sure I've been anything else. Even as a small child I would soak up stories and then try to make them bigger. I guess the best thing about being a writer is I get to be myself.

Well, usually I clean house...then work in the garden...sometimes I go shopping... But I always have to come back and face the page. So, the best way to fight writer's block for me is to pick a different time to write.
I find that I am very productive when everyone else in the house is in bed, and it's just me and my laptop. There is a certain peace during these times, a certain opening up of wasn't there before. It kills me because I love to sleep!
