My book "A View From A Lake: Buddha, Mind and Future" actually started as a psy-fi novel, but soon I realised I had a factual story to tell first. I would like to attempt the novel one day. Maybe the self-view that is so destructive to our planet is a species that merely uses our bodies as its agent?

I actually intended to ordain as a Buddhist monk in the 1980s, but my negative equity prevented me from giving away all my possessions! That was not the path for me, as it turns out, and I have no regrets. My book describes what I have learnt through almost three decades of meditation and studying the mind.
