Genevieve Montcombroux Hi Jennifer, I have unpublished the series because it had a number of mistakes - nothing I can just pass off as distraction or accuse my editor with whom I had problems - I am slowly revising the series. But I have found a copy that I would be happy to send you if you would give me your address.
When the new series is ready, I'll let you have a free download and you can compare :)
Take care,
Genevieve Montcombroux Thank you for your interest. Sorry I'm so late in replying. Book three The Hope is published and available on all the Amazon sites. Here is the link to amazon.com

Genevieve Montcombroux Many years ago when we emigrated to Small Town, Canada, the promised house didn't materialized so we ended up in the railway station unused for the previous ten years.

A family of skunks lived in the crawl space.
Genevieve Montcombroux When I was at the age of majority (21 in France) and could travel my sister and I met for the first time in our life. I still had to meet my mother. I was told I had been kidnapped as a baby. My sister did not resemble anyone in the family that I knew of, nor did she resemble our mother. Who was kidnapped? How did it happen? Why did my grandmother never answered questions?
Genevieve Montcombroux I know it exists for some writers, but not for me. If I got stuck on a novel, I would leave aside and work on another one until the ideas flow again.
Genevieve Montcombroux The ability to share your imagination with other people, to share what you love - for me it is dogs and wilderness - and being able to put everything aside to write.
Genevieve Montcombroux Think of the story you want to write and build up your characters in your mind. Then write an outline, then a more detailed outline. This will ensure your story holds together. Then write and keep writing. Take your time crafting your work, check the grammar (nobody knows it all), including punctuation and word usage.
Genevieve Montcombroux I have much planned for this year. My WIP at the moment is a series, probably three novels, set against the occupation of France during WWII (of which I have personal memories). I want to show what it was like for the ordinary people to live in those conditions and sometimes do extraordinary things, not the great heroic battles, I'll leave that to the historians, but the daily fight to survive, love and grieve.
The working title of the first book is Silent Tears, the second Silent Rage, and the third Silent Hope.
Genevieve Montcombroux This is a difficult question. I always have the urge to write despite the fact that sometimes paid work has to take precedence over writing for love and fun. Perhaps my inspiration comes from my surroundings, semi wilderness nature, Inuit sled dogs, past expeditions with my dogs and memories of having lived in the far North.
Genevieve Montcombroux My most recent is Romance by the Slice. The idea came to me when a young man drove while drunk and killed people. How could he live with it and rebuild his life. Finding meaningful work and the love of a woman is my way to deal with this huge dilemma.
