This is a difficult question. I always have the urge to write despite the fact that sometimes paid work has to take precedence over writing for love and fun. Perhaps my inspiration comes from my surroundings, semi wilderness nature, Inuit sled dogs, past expeditions with my dogs and memories of having lived in the far North.
