Each morning after my daily hike I have a decision to make, do I do nothing or do I do something? On the days that I choose to do something I work on one of two projects.
Firstly, a memoir, covering the period of dissatisfaction with my career that lead to an eventual early retirement in Costa Rica. I take a humorous approach to: choosing whether to buy a business or find a new job, deciding to move to a foreign country, our due diligence trip, our move, and our life the first two years in Costa Rica.
My second project involves researching the Location Independent lifestyle and interviewing those who have succeeded in making it a reality. It is the lifestyle I am building for myself.
Both subjects I am passion about and that is what I consider as "retirement." Having the time to pursue ones passions.
