Usually, if I can't think of anything to write, it's because I'm exhausted, so I'll drink some coffee or take a nap. I'm WAY into naps. Watching a movie or reading a book also helps. I also love writing little hashtag blurbs on Twitter. Having to condense something into 140 characters wakes up the creative part of my brain. I think you also have to give yourself permission to write utter garbage, and then go back and fix it later, but I struggle with that.

Writing is just like everything else-the more you practice, the better you get. Develop the habit of writing every day, and don't get discouraged when you feel like you have nothing to write about. Start with that-just write, " I have nothing to say." I think you'll be surprised at what comes after if you just stick to it.

Quite simply, I was reading similar books, and while a lot of them were great, none of them were the exact book I wanted to read, so I wrote it.
