I can always write SOMETHING. Sometimes ADD gets a hold of me and I end up with just a poem. Sometimes I won't stop until I fall asleep on my laptop. I don't have one thing over an other that inspires me. Sometimes it's the silliest thing as a food craving, or a commercial or a conversation with a friend that turns into a whole scene or chapter. Beware being friends with an author: Anything you do or say can be used in their next book! LOL

I have always loved to write. I always journaled as a teen and an adult. I like the freedom of writing. There are no limits beyond what we set for ourselves. I like the idea that anything is possible in the world I create.

This book was born by a crazy conversation on one Saturday afternoon between myself and my co-author. We had been discussing the latest "trends" in books and how certain topics had become quite popular. We were just goofing off and came up with this idea and how we had never read anything close to it....next thing you know, we were writing!

Currently working on Book Two. The heroine is talking to me and the hero is kind of shy at the moment. Looking to shoot the cover over the summer and hopefully have Book Two out by Halloween.

Have a marketing plan. Reach out to other authors and don't be afraid to ask for help...not promotion...but help and advise! Ask them if you are missing a step or two or five...but have a plan!
