Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Radu Aldea Wow! That’s a goodt question and I’ve never thought about this until now. Nothing’s better than the classics and no one greater than the Bard, so I have to say Romeo and Juliet. Just between us Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are a close second :). But there are so many incredible characters, and so many great books and movies, some of which I’ve read or seen, most of them I haven’t, that a choice almost feels unfair. If you like an answer from the more contemporary literature, and to be loyal to my preferred genre to read or write, I would say Richard and Kahlan. If you haven’t read Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth series, you should, because it’s great.

Radu Aldea I do need proof-readers. I did correct my book as much as I could and I have friends who helped, but I keep reading it over and over again and still find mistakes. Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Radu Aldea I had a starting scene in mind, two people meeting at a lake, and they would become the protagonists of the story, and that transformed into a battle. Than I wondered why if there are no good guys in this story and the people considered by almost all the worst guys just won a war and there is nobody left to challenge them?

How do you get inspired to write?

Radu Aldea An idea pops into my head, and don't ask me when it comes from because most of the time I don't know. This idea could be the basic outline for a novel or a scene, and then I start playing with it, twisting it, adding details, until I think i have a good story. Than I start writing and that changes the story again.
